I’ve considered getting a UK one and plugging it in to the outlet by my dryer. I have a US voltage one (actually 2 we also have one we keep at my mom’s) but only purchased after multiple trips to Europe where my husband became obsessed with their instant coffee (also superior to US versions).

Perhaps the license plate is from Colorado because it’s closer to there than most of the population centers of Texas.

Trader Joe’s (and other places surely) sells little pre-made frozen cubes of both. I keep them handy for lazy days.

Ours flickered but came back thank goodness. I have to pack for a trip tomorrow and that’d be hard in the dark. Hope your outage isn’t long!
