Recommended reading 💯 if you want to up your game and integrate measurements of fear, avoidance, generalization and extinction (in rodents)!

Prior research suggests that dopamine receptor blockade disrupts avoidance learning.

We found that D1R blockade reduced avoidance during training, but subsequent avoidance was intact.

This suggests that D1R blockade may acutely impair performance rather than avoidance learning proper.
