Going from your description of it, sounds to me like someone browbeaten to the point that they broke bad. Some folks leave the community, one I knew rage-quit transition, but a few threw up the middle finger & went full pick-me right wing. Not to say they wouldn't have ended up their on their own...

My one criticism of what I watched so far is they're all so busy shredding & ripping face-melting solos while trash-talking each other that they forgot to write a catchy song. But I mean though... folks like Joe Satriani & Yngwie Malmsteen made an entire career out of that, just not my cup of tea.

TFW when I took someone to a screening of End Of Evangelion who had absolutely zero knowledge of any of the series. They walked out with a dazed shell-shocked look on their face at the end.

Bocchi The Rock picked it up a a bit more with new technology. Now this is just flat-out flaunting it. Every detail frame perfect, every instrument meticulous in 4K down to the tiniest detail, the "camera" doing 360 degree spins around the band as they play... geez. This was unheard of 20 years ago.

Is homeroom still a widespread thing in high school? The only year we had proper homeroom at the beginning of every school day was Grade 8. Then Grades 9 & 10 it was TAGs (Teacher Advisory Groups) with a mix of students of all the grades just to check in with school announcements & stuff midmorning.

Yeah, all of Side 4 up to "Stop" hit different after 2017. The whole album is a formative teenage memory, but not sure I could relisten to it past Comfortably Numb now.
