I like it here. Seems to be fewer people from TSA's No Fly List. Entrepreneur. Employer. Child of a single mother/immigrant. Francophile. Married for eons. Artist at heart. Forgot to have kids. I have questions.
While I was at work, my husband put up a Christmas tree. What? This is the first time in 46 years. I am gobsmacked. He never ceases to amaze me. Merry Christmas.

Merry Christmas from a much younger me. My husband came across my homemade Xmas card from 50 years ago. Back then, I wanted to draw for a living. I may retake art classes in retirement.
I posted this on Twitter a long time ago, so I apologize for the redundancy.

After a bad breakup, my niece traveled to Spain alone for three months. She came for Thanksgiving full of stories about her journey and questions about her Spanish grandmother. We are getting out the boxes of photos today, and I will tell her about my mother's life, from Spain to Morocco to the US.

Congratulations to all the wild turkeys who make it through Thanksgiving! I wish you luck through hunting season. You are always welcome at my bird feeder.
