Agreed. That said, as an early driver of inbound marketing and "metrics that matter" (organic traffic has been drilled as a KPI) the optics are interesting. Digital marketers are going to need to reestablish meaningful KPIs, get gutsy, and re-educate execs, boards, etc. as the landscape changes.
