Once nearly voted “Most Likely to Have an Opinion”. Lover of food and books and cute things. Never shuts up about the greatness of public libraries and myofascial therapy balls
Is the goal that they get all of their meals via tweezer eventually?

We are doing our second annual cook-the-book NYE dinner party and our book is Washoku so our house is full of Japanese goodness right now, too! Not specifically new year foods but delicious just the same

It’s the one thing that prevents us from using the train more!

It may be too late but if you’re traveling by road from Portland to Seattle and can stop off, La Tarasca in Centralia has the most amazing food. Family run, homemade tortillas. Adobada tacos are incredible. The refried beans are a revelation. They may be closed Tuesdays or for the holidays.

I chose sleep. And now that the kids are older I can have both. I was able to gift myself the time for one yoga class per week in the baby years and it was truly a gift, but sleep was the priority. Plus I found caring for littles to be energetic!

Sounds sort of like a third person equivalent of the tu/vous distinction in French (and in other Romance languages and probably many I’m unfamiliar with).

Not to forget @pegushi.bsky.social who is a go-to for any gift-giving occasion

@sarahmackattack.bsky.social as expected, the teen loves the April Fool on the calendar (and the younger teen loved the Eel Facts calendar, too)

I also enjoyed Ashley Shew’s Against Technoableism. Shared it with my then-high school junior and the concepts have been ones we’ve witnessed and discussed many times since and the teen wrote high school papers about it

Do you have a game store near you? My kiddos play at a board game store that hosts groups. I’m sure there must be online campaigns as well. I’m sure you’d fit right in. Your character would be beautifully drawn!

That’s very sweet

Unless those two are going at it in a ring and both are the Jake Paul in the situation, I want nothing to do with it. What a cursed pair.

The amount of her royalties! The way she gets tenure with presumably no portfolio or publications other than her milquetoast self-help bestseller…

I checked out a 7 day Hallmark BingePass from my county library system on Hoopla and watched it. It’s…. Something.
