One of the best things that has happened to me recently was when I mentioned this to my autistic 11 year old son who doesn't go to school and he threw me an instant and quite decent answer. Maybe TikTok based education isn't all bad

I mean obvs I totally agree with you but why Japan is a current outlier doesn't seem to me to be about good public health decisions -Most older age groups seem to have adhered more consistently to a traditional Japanese diet than in many other countries? pubmed.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/38156435/

Obviously I should just say YES but I know lots of people with all the privileges possible who have still found them life changing, presumably because they have an unlucky genetic assortment + we live in an inherently obesogenic environment. We needed GLPRs to evolve this far but we don't anymore?

Interesting. I see that but they are also utterly life changing for a lot of people. But the reality is that means most people will be on them for a lot of their life which has implications beyond profound
