Happy Victoria Day! I’m celebrating with BBQ chicken on a Caesar salad. We can hear the fireworks at the beach from our house.

I spent $62 at Goodwill today buying baby clothes. I got 11 items. I refuse to buy new clothes every 3 months at full price. Most items are only worn 4 times on average.

We took the baby to the park today. First time on the swings and she loved it.
I met other parents today. I was a little nervous because I heard that other parents could be very judgmental, but they were cool. Looking forward to doing it again tomorrow.

I’m listening to The Bell Jar by Sylvia Plath. The first few chapters makes you think it’s going to be a feel-good chick-lit book, but then it gets really dark. I honestly knew nothing about it before I picked it up. I’m loving it so far though.
