Surely virtually every programme or news report made that has edited speeches even ones cut only minutes apart could present many different perspectives of what his verbal intentions were. The bit about cheering our great senators is obviously sarcasm and had hidden inferences.

Can’t see it - 10 years & billions to develop those fields - obviously the companies will steal the actual product for free but it’s low grade oil at the end of the day which is why it’s cheap to buy now - it’s got to be a diversion or excuse for action elsewhere

The oil grab is nonsense - US oil companies won’t want to spend billions on infrastructure there for low grade oil - they could buy or invest in existing companies or in fields in Canada & make more money.
With oil at $53 it’s not worth doing and there is so much oil around atm in any case

Besides the USA has made so much money from tariffs it doesn’t need oil and can has so much spare cash it can buy, drugs, healthcare & pay pensions which is why there are no homeless or signs of poverty anywhere in the US- he put the national guard on the streets to help people cross the road
