One of the worst things about depression is the inability to focus. When I can’t even lay down on the couch and doomscroll because my mind keeps zoning off, I just feel so defeated. All I am left with is staring out into space waiting for that issue to end.

I know one-year-old’s do not have the greatest attention span, but you would think if he gives you a book to read that he would at least let you read beyond the first two pages before wanting to switch to another book.

I know that people say Chipotle is expensive, but I feel it is not that badly priced if you go in with the intention of splitting it into two separate meals.

My 3 year old’s yogurts come with jokes that usually make me roll my eyes, but every now and then, they get a chuckle out of me. This morning’s gem: 'Why were all the soccer players dressed in suits? Because it was a tie game!' So dumb, yet so whimsical
