But machines aren’t human! So isn’t it possible they could create images in a totally different way? We don’t teach computers math by sitting them down with homework haha.

This is a harder question for me bc I haven’t really researched it! I don’t feel like I can speak to the ethics. I will say intuitively I don’t feel it’s nearly as harmful, as coding seems a lot less personal than art in my experience? The culture of like GitHub etc.

Honestly if a true AI (like a program that was sentient) could synthesis images that it thought were beautiful, I think that would be amazing to see. If it didn’t train on any premade human art I think it could be fascinating. But this is still science fiction haha.
