Your comment disgraces all Canadians. Grow a spine before speaking publicly again.

Check out Summer in Orcus, not a main character, but a cheese monger and their cheeses play a role! (And it's one of the less often spoken of Kingfisher books that's well worth the read cheese or no cheese.)

The Gaia trilogy was probably the first mainstream SF I read with lesbian and bi characters. It was a majorly happy-making mind boggle for me back in the (very) early 80's.

Enjoyed the rest of his books.

Sad to hear the news.

As it should be... those four pictures are awesome... seems to be suddenly dusty in here, must be dust in my eye...

The Raven and the Reindeer (also by TKingfisher) also fits that description. It's one of her earlier works, and very much worth reading for the title animals, the adventure, and the spinning of Hans Christian Andersen's The Snow Queen into a much more delightful tale.

I wish the text version was more easily available, almost didn't buy and that would have been a loss. Truly enjoyed reading this and hope that you continue to write in that universe!

Lots to chew on in thinking about the next (and next, and next) Canadian elections too.

Still using WordPerfect ... Corel's WP 2021 ... still works better for me than the other word processors. And I still grumble when "industry standard" is required to communicate with other software.

Grabbed a copy and enjoyed it thoroughly! I appreciate the (self) promo, your book was not on my radar and it would have been unfortunate to have missed it.

Glad you dared ... wondering the same thing.
