I find them not just on the floor, but on the kitchen counter. If I'm up especially early, the trail-makers (slugs in my case) are still there, making their trails.

Absolutely does my head in on multiple levels, that my mother (definitely the source but oblivious to it herself) refuses to agree with my ACTUAL diagnosis, but quite frequently describes other people with the phrase "on some sort of spectrum".
