Great to visit the Cern Abbey excavations today. And an absolute treat to have a mediaeval knife made for me out of recycled mediaeval metal from the spoil heap. Congratulations on another successful season @hugh-willmott.bsky.social

Great to drop into the @durotrigesdig.bsky.social open day today. Isla’s first dig, and what a high bar it has set. Lots of lovely friendly familiar faces to go along with a fascinating site 👍🙌🏼

It was a pleasure to attend the World Heritage UK 10th anniversary celebration in Westminster yesterday evening. These places matter, not just for their beauty and history, but for the stories they tell about who we are, where we’ve come from, and what we value for future generations.

A brilliant couple days with the @landscapesurvey.bsky.social still my favourite group to be a part of. Brilliant people and fascinating landscape discussions. Made all the better by a quick glimpse of the partial eclipse!

A great day out and around Bodmin yesterday with the @landscapesurvey.bsky.social group. An extremely dynamic landscape with historic china clay extraction still drastically modifying the landscape today.

It has been an absolute pleasure working with Cat the last few years. She has helped to keep the UK chapter of @CAA_Int running smoothly and grow, and was instrumental in introducing the amazing Masters award that is now in its third year.
