The #homelab is now truely load bearing infra.

Don't use a language to template #bash scripts then run them.

Future you will regret it. So many foot guns.

Write a bash script and pass in the values as arguments.

Then you have a bunch of stuff, like ShellCheck, which will help you out and you don't have horrible mismash of bash, whatever […]

#SilverBullet is becoming more and more of a fully featured programming platform.

It already had its own programming language (Space #lua) for a while. Infrastructure wise there is a data store (with query language), event bus, message queue and I’m currently designing a service discovery and […]

I used OBS Studio for doing screen recording today on #linux

Had the impression it was really complex to setup so had avoided but it was dead easy and does great recordings 🥳

How it feels to work in a busy monolith repo.

> Your branch and 'xxxx' have diverged,
and have 2 and 2076332 different commits each

(spoiler: it did tell me this but 2m commits is the whole commit history for the repo, git got in a mess)

Today I fixed a bug. It was load bearing 🏗

Without the bug occurring other stuff broke.

It's at times like this the phrase "no good deed unpunished" comes to mind.
