@lazaroskaravasilis.bsky.social discusses the constructions of 'the elite' in the discourses of Die Linke and AfD in Germany. He reflects on how these constructions are informed by party ideology, and the degree to which populism plays a central role.
My paper on the re-examination of 'the elite' term in populism studies is finally out! I discuss how we can offer further analytical utility to populism by exploring the nuances of 'the elite' as the second core element of populism after 'the people'.
