I feel like it’s in all our interest for Kemi to have done well, if all it does is chip away at Reforms lead in the polls

Gosh, heaven must be stuffed to the rafters

We need our government to break the link between wholesale gas prices and retail electricity prices

'Britain’s #electricity prices are overwhelmingly set by expensive #gas, not #renewables. And it was gas that added a whopping £90bn to Britain’s energy bill during the recent price crisis.'

interesting you say that, there is a train and bus option to travel into the city centre from were I live. The train is almost twice the price of the bus, but 3x faster. Jenrick would be very happy on the train.

probably the deep state stopping them making cuts to bin collection and libraries, even #farageboats girls and boys can fight the “globalists” in Kent, they obvs have it a good try though

in other words in the last 45yrs the UK 🇬🇧 has only lost 13 immigration cases at the European Court of Human Rights (ECHR)
davidosland.bsky.social
Since 1980, the ECHR has heard just 29 UK immigrant deportation case, and the UK won 16 of them. Quitting will make no material difference to immigration, just weaken protections for absolutely everybody in this country. But Farage and the Tories know that.

I just rewatched Rebel One, because I have loved Andor so much, but think that might have been a mistake as I had forgotten the end

I guess bad government is what most of the comments here are about, unless this proposed law is also used to make repeat protests outside asylum hotels illegal too?
lazy-activist.bsky.social
It’s wierd how the Small Boats Issue has quietly fallen off the agenda of the Far Right Tories and Reform, they know it’s being tackled, so now it all about who can deport the biggest number of brown and black people who are already legally here. It’s a Race race between the two of them.
lazy-activist.bsky.social
Warren your Labour blinkers don’t always allow you to imagine a different government using any law put in the statute books by Labour or others to quell public disquiet. Imagine this is a Reform idea, to restrict repeated strike action by UNITE or another large Labour donor
lazy-activist.bsky.social
I worry that the government can proscribe any group as terrorists (eg extinction rebellion or Greenpeace), they can do this without revealing evidence for doing so, then they can ban a legal protest by that group. You might argue Labour would never do that, but could you say the same about Reform
lazy-activist.bsky.social
I am very concerned that this government will take away the right to protest - this is an authoritarian action
lazy-activist.bsky.social
if they pledged to join the single market I would vote for them, the other stuff could come later

oh dear, Zack will have to answer for this

if MAGAs have the same grasp of percentages as Drump does then many will read the Grok note as a benefit not a disadvantage 😏

so many “don’t knows” to convert to the dark side 😏

#farageboats was as right about this as he was about Brexit or his admiration of Putin 😀🤡

"Milei is amazing. It's Thatcherism on steroids. Cutting and slashing. That's leadership" - Nigel Farage

Milei would be the "template" for my government - Kemi Badenoch
