It’s really nice to be home. She was so happy to see me. I kept worrying the whole time I was gone, that somehow she wouldn’t be there. Having a senior pup is so bittersweet.

Thoughts from a cruise with my 70+ year old parents. For sure there were moments of frustration. And I realize how privileged I am to be here. I don’t know that I’ll be able to travel with mom and dad like this again and I’m glad I did it.

I bought this sculpture 20+ years ago when I was living on a shoestring budget and I couldn’t afford it. It’s just spoke to me, it felt like if I was a sculpture that’s what I would look like.  i’m embarrassed to admit, I don’t know the name of the artist but I still love it.
