Unless it happens overnight and I wake up to a Huffpost about it. I hope I'm at a stoplight and there is a murmur, then people start to honk, then people get out of their cars and start dancing.

I was at Gm1 of the 2024 World Series for Freddie's GS. A cool thing about being there is that people who couldn't watch the game, telling me how they heard about it. Like my in-laws being at my nephews football game and it spreading thru the stands until the PA announcers told everyone.......1/2

it wasn't as funny the second time around and I have seen it since.

Guess it isn't a flex but I saw Something About Mary opening night. There wasn't an empty seat and everyone was laughing so loud and for so long, that you couldn't hear some of the dialogue for a minute or so after some of the bigger jokes. Went back to see it when it got to the Super Saver......1/2

Vance is from the Midwest, he probably thinks Ketchup is spicy.

Between the A's & the Rays you could fill the Louvre with hopefully renderings.

"Her team took an unspecified number of Puerto Rico's voting machines and additional copies of data from the machines as part of its investigation...." My first thought was to help Russia hack our elections. Every accusation is a confession with these people.

Let's feed them to the pigs and start over!!

Meanwhile, we get yelled at for telling these fucktards that they are going to get someone sick or worse kill someone.

.....it went from they are stealing your jobs to they are also stealing our elections.

Starting with Reagan, the republican party started convincing people that they were just one break away from becoming wealthy, so you might as well support trickle-down economics and vote accordingly. After 40 years of that not working out, it was pretty easy for them to blame immigrants.

The NFL is notorious for not playing the super bowl musical acts. Their thing is the publicity the artists get. Green Day should have enough money not to care. With at least a 7 second delay, they could dump the feed, however.

I'd like them to focus on creating a schedule that ensures that Game 7 of the World Series is never played later than October 30th.

We have a group chat for our street. It is mostly used to arrange driveway parties but we have a plan should ICE show up. Everyone is going to set off the panic button on their cars.

History tells us that having a baby is a bad way to save your marriage.

The only variable is Trump. If he wasn't president this wouldn't be an issue. The LA84 games were so successful and the fact that we have more than enough venues unlike most host cities made this seem like a no brainer 10 years ago.

But you can see the Pros. LA84 was so wildly successful that the foundation is still funding sports related things around the Southland. Also, we already have all the buildings unlike most host cities.

They will be replaced with people who are capable of staying out of the limelight but the policies will continue. It seems like Miller would have to go before anything really changes.

Do the owners of the Dodgers, Mets, Yankees, Blue Jays and Phillies really want a salary cap? I'd think they would be pissed that the owners at the bottom just pocket the payroll tax revenue.

It's so odd that Andruw Jone's stats and durability fall off a cliff at age 29 (2006)........."The Mitchell Report, formally titled "Report to the Commissioner of Baseball," is a 409-page document released in December 2007 by former U.S. Senator George J. Mitchell...."
