I tend to avoid bombastic national pride but the British right to walk randomly into the road at any juncture is genuinely one of our greatest traditions and these yank tech companies can sod off.

As someone who grew up just a few miles from the YSP, these people do realise that West Yorkshire is IN THE MIDDLE OF THE COUNTRY! it is literally one of the easiest places to get to unless you think 'easy' means 'in London'.

My god these takes make me think I'm losing my mind. It is a game. A take I saw yesterday said 'it's two dishonest people beating 20 honest people 😔' but this is a fundamental misunderstanding of what the show is imo. It's a murder mystery, like a glamorous version of Cluedo...

My least favourite part of the whole series is the dinner party where you hear all their back stories. I don't think it should matter, it's a murder mystery game, not the X-factor.

My grandmother's house that was a council owned property didn't have central heating well into the 2000s. My brother also had a council property that had central heating but was coal fired, again into the mid 00s.

Oh don't get me wrong, the tech is nowhere near there when it comes to true augmented reality glasses that don't make you look like a total dweeb. The meta Ray Bans just seem to be tailor made for perverts, though.

I get that, but I can do it with my phone with almost no inconvenience/delay. On a basic security/privacy level, the idea that it would be constantly recording isn't the best either.

I don't even have an issue with augmented reality tech per se (though your point about it being potentially very distracting is a good one) but the ability to record interpersonal video secretly is just fundamentally wrong on a social/societal level. It just engenders distrust and suspicion.

I cannot see any reason to have a semi hidden camera in glasses like this unless you're a spy or a creep. Why do they even exist beyond that?

Yeah don't get me wrong, the fact we don't have an independent delivery system with the state of the USA right now is a worry... The guidance system isn't fully integrated into the US system (ours still uses stellar navigation rather than GPS) but I still reckon it's dodgy to be so reliant on the US

To be clear, the warheads are absolutely not leased from the USA. They're British designed and produced. The delivery system (the missile) is the thing we buy in from the Americans.

Mine does the same... It currently needs washer fluid putting in it and it has the 'your engine is about to fall out' light on. Such a drama llama.

I honestly can't place it and I feel very bad for even talking about it on social media because this used to be the kind of chat people had in the pub only but... yes, she just doesn't play well on TV. I'm sure she's lovely in real life and an excellent dancer!

I hope Karen, but won't be too disappointed if George, and I genuinely feel bad for Amber (she's a good dancer, just doesn't come across well on TV I think).
