I swore I wasn't going to download anymore apps. And yet ...
All for his ultimate goal of playing in the faucet.

He didn't today, but he's totally going to fall in one day.

I love his little, tiny vampire teeth.

I'm filling a tub in case the storm knocks out the power and the kitten is extremely curious.

Really grateful to have added these two furballs to the family last week.

This cat has lived here for four days and learned that he's faster than me when playing so he just runs to the spot he knows we're going to and waits for me. FOUR. DAYS.

Also, man, I'm glad to have cats again. I missed them.

Very, very pleased that the kitten will accept a nap transfer from a lap to a blanket nest and can sleep through a zoom meeting.

On the flip side, I had to pause an earlier meeting to rescue a plant stand from being toppled.

Well, I think he feels safe in his new home.

There's a cuddly kitten in my house!

We also brought home a three year old but he's not ready for cuddles.

Very excited that these two cuties are coming home with me this afternoon. The little guy will be called Pan and the big one is Odin.

No kings but Haynes King! 7-0! Go jackets! Sting 'em!

Went to a No Kings protest with my mom. Very encouraged by the size of the crowd and the numbers of cars who honked as they drove by.

Update: garlic scape salt is excellent on a slice of buttered bread
July 4, 2025 at 1:09 PM
Since y'all went on this journey with me, I wanted to give an update with the results. Three out of three people in my house like it on a piece of buttered bread. At first, you only taste salt, but then the garlic really comes in. I'll definitely make it again, but maybe decrease the salt some.

I'm hoping it will be great, but today's my first time making it: garlic scape salt.
July 3, 2025 at 9:11 PM
I'm distracting myself by dealing with produce that needs to be dealt with. First up: garlic scape salt!

How many divers dream of being able to tuck like this?

I don't know what kind of tree this is, but the squirrels have been spending A LOT of time in its branches nibbling on something.

I've been forgiven for visiting other cats.

I had to make an early morning Meijer run for the preferred cat food and decided I deserved a treat. #forthegoodofmorale
