Yea that’s definitely a problem here on bluesky worth your criticism, that in addition to the 90% of bluesky that is screaming rage against AI, there are one or two people who aren't screaming all the time and gently engaging and discussing actual AI. Good job Tom thx for policing this space 👍

Yea for sure there was clearly some institutional and character weakness ready to be exploited. I’m just saying, it’s not like some random weather event, there is an actor taking actions to dismantle US leadership. Trump and Maga is the cause.

Thank you! The constant tinkering is driving me nuts. So what if it isn’t competitive enough, you get alllll the other games! Just one game out of 1000s a year isn’t competitive, chill.

Not trying to sell anything, and I don’t think the ‘selling’ has been playing well anyway. It’s not ‘I’m not that guy’ we need, it’s ’I will do whatever it takes to take that guy down’

So normal electoral politics then. We’re not in that place anymore. I and others will (and are) gravitate toward leaders who fight hard and vicious against maga neo nazi sex offenders who are dismantling the system within which we can have normal electoral politics.

Respectfully, we don’t all have to agree on a well constructed policy platform before we can fight against an existential threat. Strength in action is also a positive message. The vision is we will fight for this country and the rights of its people.

Wow what a toxic mob of insanity. This feels more like twitter, toxic screaming at each other, it’s embarrassing. Roose and Casey are actually pretty balanced and often harshly critical of big tech. The anti-AI bluesky mob is out of control, shutting down any hope for actual conversation on this.

This is exactly right and what’s special about pacers. Even when they were turning the ball over every other possession! They still seemed calm and I don’t understand it
