I'd argue that if, over the past 20 years or so, people had paid ANY attention to what was going on after they voted we wouldn't be in this mess. Showing up once every 2-4 years and doing nothing else is pretty pointless.

I've argued for decades that if men had their penis size tattooed on their forehead we could avoid a lot of this crap. I'm 57 and haven't seen anything that changes my mind.

Even if Trump had won 99% of the vote (God forbid!), Elon Musk doesn't have a mandate to do sh!t. I'm apoplectic that we're all treating this as remotely normal.

The real question is should I be worried that JD Vance has disappeared? Generally, the answer is hell no, but in trumpland you never know. He's the man who made me miss Jeff Sessions....
