Listening to my husband struggling to describe how to refresh on Safari Browser (which we don't use) to his parents reminds me of how much I hate the "It just works" and "Apple products are sooooo intuitive" myth. Every technology platform has a learning curve and has downsides.

"Block and move on". It did feel powerful to block these accounts. They say echo chamber. I say safe space mostly free of algorithms, ads, suggested content (including stupid AI Slop) and mind numbing video shorts (again more AI Slop). Bluesky and the Fedisphere is an act of defiance.
