Blake James makes over 1 million dollars a year as the BC AD since 2022 and has shown 0 progress in his time on The Hill. The institutional ineptitude goes far beyond his tenure, but the department has continued to crumble into further mediocrity on his watch.

In football Ohio State is coached by a former BC assistant & New Englander, Ryan Day. Chip Kelly & Dan Mullen are both from NH and had success. The current CFP ranking has schools Indiana & 5 other ACC schools in the top 25, including Georgia Tech which is on par or better than BC in academics

The only team that has brought any semblance of pride to Chestnut Hill is the Women's LAX team that won a Natty in 24, but the Men's team has only been a club team since 2002. In those 23 years 17 ACC schools (BCs conference) have won't Natty's and so has YALE. Also 1 year was lost due to COVID.

And it's not just the men's teams that are lackluster at best. With the spotlight on woman's basketball getting brighter the Lady Eagles haven't been to the tournament since 2006 and started the year by losing to Holy Cross at home. Women's hockey hasn't been to the tourney since 2021.

Men's baseball which is a growing spirthas made the NCAA tournament only 3 times this century. In comparison Vanderbilt, a school who also stakes their claim as a power 5 school that cares about academics, has 2 baseball national titles and 2 runners up in the last decade.

Their basketball team lost AT HOME to Connecticut tonight... Not UCONN... Central Connecticut State. They haven't been to the tournament in 16 years. The only power 5 team with a longer streak of not making the tournament is DEPAUL!

The Fenway Bowl was established for them to have a hometown bowl game as a soft landing spot and a bowl season payday but they can't get win enough games to get bowl eligible to even play in it

They are afraid to schedule games against successful New England FCS schools like UNH, URI, Maine, and even Holy Cross because they are afraid of losing and then having to cut a 6 figure check and then lose recruits to those FCS schools ...

The Football team is a constant steaming pile of garbage that gave the keys to Bill O'Brien who has done nothing but lose & fight with the media and admonish the students & fanbase for not going to games to see his team lose at a decrepit stadium where the best tailgate is in a parking garage
