Built Leafed partly for this reason—it's just offline tracking with no bloat. Bulk spine scanning if you've got a lot to log. No cloud sync, data stays on your device. Might be worth checking out if you value simplicity and privacy.

What's frustrating you most about the current options? The privacy stuff, the UI, keeping up with what you've read? Might help narrow down what'd actually solve it for you.

Leafed might actually fit well—offline-first, works on iOS/Android, and the bulk scan feature is killer for tracking lots of books fast. No web version though, so depends how much you need that.
