she's very floppy and therefore somewhat poseable, and has a weighted butt to help her sit nicely- it also makes her delightful to hold and carry around

ty! i am only back for a week and a half before traveling abroad for nearly a month but hopefully when i get back im go nuts on dolls >:3

i would recommend using cheap wool batting and wool felt cut into strips bc it just feels and felts together better but poly batting is cheap n works fine too! i use batting sheets like this to bulk underneath fur for dolls also

i would love seeing plush from u! it helps me to look at my own collection of plush, and go thru vintage pattern books etc to get an idea of how shapes work when sewn, how stuff slots together etc

yes absolutely! it's hard to shake the feeling of "this isn't gonna pay rent like making merch would" but it's so refreshing to work on smth so different and sometimes u just need to make smth to make it! definitely will be making more plush/dolls n stuff when i can :3

pattern making is rlyyyy difficult n takes a lot of trial and error bc i have nooo apple in my brain esp not for 3d objects! she was quite the experiment

i have the jumpsuits all sewn up so they are all different half-and-half colors using minky or cotton! now that the pattern is made at least for the large size clowns, i might try different furs for them but currently i only have white in this length of fur
