like i love hearing little things about people it’s just that the intricacies of Normal Social Scripts are something i fail at repeatedly

and im a pretty joyful person myself so this isn’t a self-pity post this is a “oh my god there’s levels of joy I haven’t even unlocked yet?? SICK” post

i don’t mean this in a “i care about the academic integrity of 7 year olds” way, moreso “i want kids to learn in an engaging environment that encourages them to try their best and the idea that that is Literally Impossible terrifies me”

i am so obsessed with all these Young People articles clearly written by someone who doesn’t have any gen z friends or family who can confirm whether anything they’re saying makes sense

does this make any sense. why is every twt/ Bluesky / threads thread phrased in the exact same way with the exact same sentence structure and the ~bullet points~
