I hope the protest helps people become aware of these dangerous thugs terrorizing our streets. An entire crew of workers repainting a Dunkin Donuts in a neighborhood here was abducted while in the middle of their job by ICE. No word here as to what happened to them or where they are now.

I thought of you watching Alan Gallant's latest "Collinsport After Dark" episode on the Tube of You. He included quite a few delightful clips from 1966 including one where Carolyn or Maggie are talking about Roger and Vicki being together and the mystery of it all...

It's strange and bad but I liked Alec Newman's performance, and the young fellow who played Willie--Matt Czuchry? I thought both had good potential. The Vicki actress was good but seemed as if she was doing another show altogether.

Till We Have Faces, his final novel, is really remarkable, and quite different from what I expected. It's a kind of pre-Classical re-casting of the legend of Cupid and Psyche. Not a trace of Christian anything at all in the book. Really strong writing.
