I love the aesthetic of Dune 1984 but I have to concede its biggest flaw is that it's paced, and often framed, like a recap compilation movie of a 100+-episode anime series. But it's very easy to forget that when guitar blares over Kyle Machlachlan and Everett McGill mugging while riding a big worm.
