Yeahh that makes sense. I don’t want to lose momentum, and I have lots of work left before I can pretend this draft is “final” (🙃), so I don’t think I’m at step back point yet. But that sounds like a smart thing to do

Can’t make this stuff up…just as I am #writing THE climactic moment of my entire novel, all of my pens dry up on me. That is correct, pens plural, not one but THREE. All in the same sentence. The universe be like “challenge your protagonist amirite?” 🤣😅

I was aiming for this rewrite of my WIP to be around 90k words instead of the 99k of the original draft. Shoulda been easy since I’m switching from multi-POV to single, right?

And yet this draft is on target to be at least 120k 🙃 oh the things I do to myself

Not to pat myself on the back too hard or anything, but this was probably the fastest I have ever filled a notebook 📒 Been rewriting my YA fantasy manuscript (and I’m one of those gremlins who loves hand-writing drafts) and filled a fresh notebook start to finish in a month! Small wins please clap!
