So, I bought this book for the title. I mean, how could I not??? I did not have high expectations. Turns out, I was oh so wrong. This book is FANATIC! This book has it all!

This one was cute. Not a literary masterpiece, and I could tell it had been translated from French, but a good in between after all the more heavy books I've been reading lately. ⭐️⭐️✨️

I think Percival Everett has very quickly become one of my absolute favorite authors. James is the second book I've read by Mr. Everett and it did not disappoint. I would highly recommend you give this masterpiece a read. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ #booksky

For a book published in 1993, I found this eerily familiar. Especially as it was written covering the years 2024 through 2027. This is way too close to what's going on today. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ #booksky

Enjoyed this, somewhat. I will say spelling a character's name 2 diff ways (not a main char), & forgetting the princess turned 9 during the course of this book (the author, not me) drove me abs batty. It wasn't a bad book.
