You know, prior to his winning in 2024, I rarely dropped an f-bomb. However, this grandma drops it daily now because that’s the only word that adequately conveys how much I can’t stand Trump, his voice, his administration, his actions, his ego…basically everything.

Years ago I felt we just needed to root out the bad apples. Now the apples, the trees, the orchard, the farmer are all rotten. Any good ones have probably left. Their actions have radically changed my opinion. Get rid of the entire agency.

Thes kinds of examples are exactly what the public needs to see. The average voter (unfortunately) does not understand the sheer scale of wealth with $1B. They therefore don’t understand why it is entirely fair and just and necessary to aggressively tax them.

And in Texas, Wesley Hunt, running for Congress, is quoted in the NYT as having said that if you obey federal agents, you get to keep your life. Everything is now a capital offense, and federal agents are not accountable in any way to the people they are supposed to protect???

If you have sick leave, paid vacation, and overtime protections unions earned for you decades ago, it’s easy to be okay with union busting because you don’t think it will affect you.
It’s the same with democracy: too many people have taken it for granted (even with all its imperfections).

I live in Texas. I keep contacting my Senators and my Rep, but it’s spitting in the wind. I wish I could contact OTHER lawmakers but keep getting locked out because I’m not a constituent.

I’m horrified here in the US. Stephen Miller is one of the most dangerous psychopaths in the world. I think the problem here is the amount of insanity coming at us so quickly—too many people think it can’t be real, until it is. We have to get past that because these people are deranged.

Yep, that was one of my first thoughts. This administration won’t even view the population as real people (unless they are wealthy or have something tangible to offer Trump).

When Trump was reelected, I bought a copy of this book because I lost my previous one years ago. I bought several history books, in fact, as resources to offset the administration’s wiping out of so much truth.
