Also, upon learning the twist with the hound, I can't help but imagine KLINT applying phosphorous to Balmung to make him look even scarier than he already is. And I keep giggling, because Klint, there is no need to do that. Why even 😅

I also felt like Watson really shined here, and that was fun to see. Sure, he's no Holmes, but his investigative skills have grown greatly from all that time spent with the great detective 😊

2. The Hound of the Baskervilles

Spent much of the snow day finishing off this book and it was a really good read! It's thus far my favorite Sherlock Holmes story--probably a basic opinion, but I enjoyed the narrative flow and the descriptions of the ominous moor.

She regales me with tales and then bats at my hands to pet her while I'm trying to write them down. I'm getting mixed messages here 😅
