My 2 cents. I love Perusall (there's other brands of collective e-readers out there too) as students earn credit for actually doing the reading. & it makes it easier for them to ask me questions about specific things that confuse them. 1/2

I started assigning readings in Perusall last spring. Spring had some complicating factors but this summer, getting students reading more and getting to find out more about what more of them thought about it was so much fun 🤩 and not a single one mentioned it in evals!

I don't have anything in the book, but as chance would have it I'm experiencing social annotation in real time for a Perusall book club on my book. I'd used a different product a little bit when I was still teaching, but not a lot. I definitely think it has the potential to improve engagement...
