Opinions my own
I just walked past this and noticed three triangles. I’m pretty confident that, if this was done accurately, the three triangles are congruent.
Are you convinced?
How do you see it?

I agree with @honeypisquared.bsky.social and @darrenmacey.bsky.social that there’s a lot to like in this book, but this image for multiplication of mixed numbers made me itch *so* much!

This is maybe the best introduction to a maths education book ever?!

When your year 11 daughter asks for a revision guide to make sure she’s got the basics, where else are you going to look?! @justmaths.bsky.social

This, on a theatre round the corner from my house, is annoying me more than it should.

I’m about 1/4 of the way through and big recommend for this by @georginasturge.bsky.social

Stats has never been my favourite thing, but this is properly interesting.

And now @yorkshire-steve.bsky.social is starting to share the thinking behind Ofsted’s Co-ordinating Mathematical Success report

It’s great to be with senior leaders from across the @jurassicmaths.bsky.social and @codemathshub.bsky.social, region coming together to consider evidence based practice with @catscutt.bsky.social

Great to have Steve Wren speaking to maths subject leads from the @jurassicmaths.bsky.social and @codemathshub.bsky.social region

It’s fair to say that I got some ‘odd’ looks taking this picture at Paddington today but I thought it was a really interesting set up! How many cubicles are there in total? How do you know?

Totally agree with this from @ruthtrundley.bsky.social at the Jurassic Conference…

“Teach patiently” feels like one of those phrases that’s really simple but captures so much. I really agree with this conclusion from the latest @atmmathematics.bsky.social journal…

I like this.
I think we often assume that mathematical thinking is a special thing. My reading of this is that it’s a sharper focus on a particular subset of things that we probably do anyway.

What a lovely thing to come home to!

The first blue door here is beach hut number 297.
Could the repeating colour pattern be maintained throughout the whole stretch of beach huts? How do you know?
