Speed walking Video Games
Alright at video games. Need money to live and enable my spending habits
I play Sol Badguy, y'all know what I'm about
He/Him
To anyone that's wished me a Happy Birthday and/or played in a Birthday Kumite

If Rose of Versai is too long (it's 41 ep), I'll throw Jellyfish Princess as an alternative (11 eps)

Working my way through the manga as we speak

Highly recommend Oscar the Rose of Versailles (1980s adaptation).

It's the anime people think I would least likely to watch

Can't make this OM since I'll be stranded on the coast.

I wish all my OnlyMids mutuals a lovely bracket run.

106) The Nutcracker (1977)
First time watching the famous ballet. The music is great. Took a while to process (and wiki diving) on the ethnic stereotypes in Act II. Costume design Mouse King still great. Gonna stick to the ost

105) Emmet Otter's Jug-Band Christmas
Real charming muppet special w/o the cast (not counting Kermit) that I'll plan to rewatch next Christmas
December 28, 2025 at 6:36 AM
104) A Charlie Brown Christmas Reanimated
It's a fun reanimation for how extreme it goes from the Schultz inspired art style to adult swim level abstract animation. Not my favorite of Reanimations, but I can tell they had a lot of fun flipping between those extremes

103) The Muppets Christmas Carol
Still holds up well. Need to check out the book and the more uncommon adaptations. It's wild that Brian Henson debut with this movie knowing he directed Happytime Murders. Makes me appreciate how much the muppet crew post Jim's death carry the heart of the muppets

102) How the Grinch Stole Christmas (1966)
The few Christmas movies I watched this year. Still great. I don't have any desire to watch other adaptations. Discovering that the singer of the Grinch ost is Tony the Tiger (Thurl Ravenscroft) is hilarious, but rules

My xrd pilled brain during Ep 6:
Alright Noriko. LOCK IN. Nips out
December 28, 2025 at 5:56 AM
101) Gunbuster
Fun ova series by Anno and Gainax. Probably the straightest mecha yuri I've seen yet
December 28, 2025 at 5:56 AM
100) Usagi Yojimbo
Been consuming 40 yrs worth of Usagi comics. Standing the test of time with Kurosawa inspired action with slice of life in Edo period Japan. I highly recommend reading the foreword by Peter Laird with how TMNT & Usagi are so similar and what makes Usagi & Stan Sakai so special

99) Resshoumania 2025
Great venue, great food, great drinks, and a good send off to the end of the year pre-xmas
December 25, 2025 at 9:36 PM
98) Sonic x Shadow Generations
Fun to go back and replay Sonic Generations, but is weird that there's a lot of George Lucasing for an 360 game for the Frontier audience.
Shadow Generations was a blast to see what what Sonic Team learned from Frontiers into Shadow Gen.
December 25, 2025 at 12:19 AM
97) Digimon Story: Time Stranger
Only game from 2025 that that I bought and beaten. Despite the nightmare that's the video game industry, this is worth the $70. Highly recommend the demo out and get it on sale if you can. Gonna go back when all dlc is released
December 24, 2025 at 11:48 PM
Probably the spiciest strip I've seen from Schultz yet. Official strip btw
December 24, 2025 at 11:32 PM
96) Only What's Necessary: Schultz & the Art of Peanuts
For living in NorCal my entire life, I had no idea the Schultz museum was in Santa Rosa and working through 50 years of Peanuts strips. Big Fan of the sleeveless cover
December 24, 2025 at 11:32 PM
95) Blank Canvas My So Called Artist's Journey by Akiko Higashimura (Jellyfish Princess author)

A powerful autobiography of Akiko sensei being a mangaka with a lot of self reflection, while being able vulnerable in one's work that not everyone is capable of doing. Go in blind as possible
December 24, 2025 at 11:19 PM
94) Adulthood is a Myth & A Gift by Sarah Anderson
Lovely little comics on adulthood. Adulthood is a Gift is worth it for this little that I hope to feel when I turn 30
December 24, 2025 at 11:12 PM
93) Batman Elmer Fudd
The only DC x Warner Brother Crossover comic I read. On reread, has aged better with time. Comics are great when they're dumb sometimes. The Deluxe edition is worth getting for the transcripts alone
December 24, 2025 at 5:40 PM
92) It's The Great Pumpkin, Charlie Brown
Good detox for Halloween night
December 24, 2025 at 5:34 PM
91) House on the Haunted Hill
This poster fucks, but the movie felt like if the Clue movie ended prematurely. Vincent Price can only carry a movie for so long
December 24, 2025 at 5:34 PM
90) The Original Night of the Living Dead Trilogy
From Night to Day of the Dead, I was shocked at how invested I was in these movies despite them being the pioneer of the Zombie apocalypse and the cultural influences.

My Top 3:
1. Dawn
2. Day
3. Night
December 24, 2025 at 5:31 PM
89) Chainsaw Man Reze Arc
Gonna tell my kids this is Mr. & Mrs. Smith
