30+ yrs ago I learned 2 important concepts from a sales coach.
#1: Humans make decisions based on our emotions. We support those decisions with logic.
#2: Repetition is the mother of all learning.
I haven't heard anything to convince me otherwise.

In a mostly 2-party election system, any bozo will get 35% of a vote. Serious cons know they only have to work for another 16%.
Trump told anyone who would listen, exactly what they wanted to hear, even if he contradicted something he said earlier.
People believe what the want to believe. Full stop.

Whatever the guy was doing should have been for a court of law to decide. Call me old fashioned but I remember a time people were arrested and put before a judge to decide what comes next.

Then, add to that the religious entities whose finances are cloaked in secrecy by our gov't (again, our social contract). In their quests for wealth & dominance, they preach a path to 'prosperity' is through their religion.
Much of the rot within society is created by worshipping Gods of Mammon.

Some actually use the phrase 'humane genocide' when talking about national healthcare. Those people donate gobs of money to the campaigns of our elected politicians who then become dependent on those donations to fund their re-election campaigns. Hence, we (their voting constituents) get sold out.

Gov't is supposed to be our social contract with one another.
Instead somehow (in our individual quests for wealth & dominance), we have managed to put people in charge whose greed sees the rest of us as tools, like an old car driven until it dies.

They're basically the exact same as ISIS or the Taliban. Just as extreme, just as violent, just as bigoted and barbaric. Domestic terrorists, the lot of them.

We should stand outside their churches with signs showing pictures of what the IDF has done and what ICE has done.

You know, like they love to do with fetus pics outside abortion clinics.

These fools need to see the bloodshed their lack of moral agency has caused.
