this year changed the absolute hell out of me.
I’ve always said, a day that you choose to rest is still a day where you’re doing something really important.
A day that you rest is not a day that we suddenly stop being proud of you, remember this.
I remember when I was a kid there was a dragon ball z episode where goku was explaining to gohan that resting appropriately is part of training too.
Recalling this and applying this now as I sidelined myself for two days with this foot pain and concussion

Fun fact I write poetry I’m just too afraid to share it because it’s so personal and intimate how could I ever expose my soul to the general public like that.
