During covid, I was part of the Auntie Sewing Squad, making free face masks. Because aunties look out for all the kids.
But the terrible truth is I began sewing a few months before the birth of my niece. I apologize for my stolen auntie valor. That’s not who I am. I promise to learn and grow.

Let me drop local knowledge: Rob is from Pacifica, CA, just south of SF. Any time he drove to the Golden Gate Bridge, he would’ve passed the SHRINERS’ HOSPITAL FOR CRIPPLED CHILDREN on 19th Ave., opened in 1922. It still had that name on a sign out front when it closed in 1997.
