I can't answer your question. The only reason I can think of is politics. People in Canada don't see this kind of expenses as necessary. It has changed a bit I think. As for the F35, I'm not in favor of buying it.

I agree with you Charlie but if we (the alies) pretend we are willing to start a fight, we have to make sure we are capable and ready for it. Ukraine plus other fronts are too much to handle for us at this moment. We relied on the US for way too long and now we are in a weak position.

En tout cas, ils ont déployé des moyens importants dernièrement pour le laisser croire. Et Xi, pas plus tard que quelques jours, a déclaré que le retour de Taiwan dans le giron de la Chine était inévitable. Dossier à suivre (un autre).

Gamberger voulant dire réfléchir je crois, je dirais que les dirigeants chinois doivent certainement se demander si ce n'est pas le feu vert pour une "opération speciale" à Taïwan.
