You misspelled 'Cousins'.

What I don't get is why is Carlo Colaiacovo on my Canadiens game broadcast? Is Drake Berehowsky unavailable?

My only quibble is, could we please have more bollards? Thank you in advance.

That was also my immediate thought: "I hope everyone's okay."

The bouillon cubes? That's mildly interesting, I guess, not sure what the big fuss is about. Just be careful excavating it so you don't tear the package, you'll be alright.

5) An independent electoral commission administers all elections, with commensurate staffing. If the two major parties are involved, it's only as observers, with strict conditions.

6) A revamped FCC that enforces the New Fairness and Accuracy Doctrine, and has broad powers to suspend licences.

Zdeno Chara is the player who punched Sidney Crosby in the mouth the very game he took off the cage protecting his surgically-repaired jaw. As usual, when questioned after the game about the assault, Zdeno denied it even occurred, in the face of video evidence. Spare me the Chara hagiographies.

This rosy-coloured rewriting of the Chara story has to end. He retired so now we have to mawkishly applaud? Writers who covered the Sens all but predicted this wouldn't end well for Patches, before the stanchion. They knew Zdeno as the thin-skinned mean-spirited player he was.

This was a low-key fun season, as I now remember it. Having big wingers like Max Pacioretty and Erik on the same line rampaging up the ice and closing in on 40 goals each was a pleasant change from our leading scorer being in the 20s. David Desharnais led Erik to his career year, not Eric Staal.

I remember being ecstatic over this trade. We get our 'gros joueur de centre' in exchange for two players I don't really want? What's the catch? It felt like Christmas. Now all we needed was our 'gros ailier gauche'. Ryan Walter had been a bit of a whiff there. [Enter Perry Turnbull.]

Well okay, fine, sure... It's a good start. But it has to include a polygraph somehow, and a segment where they have to repeat their biggest whoppers and see if they really think/believe what they said, or they honestly are a crackpot.

Oh, and there has to be a guillotine behind Door #3.

Seriously, can anyone explain how they eschewed Yeti because a company in an unrelated field was already using the word/name, but Mammoth was thought to be OK? "But what about the MTB tires and the ski resort and the car dealerships and ..."

Definitely the glass-banger, he ruins it for those sitting around him, and everyone watching on TV. That should be the ushers'/security #1 job, escorting those jackasses out. The "Get in the hole!" guy is annoying, but mostly because the money quote is "It's in the hole!" in a Bill Murray voice.

I was very disappointed in Jim Hughson, a stellar play-by-play caller normally ("...Brendan Gallagher, the diminutive Giant..."), going an entire playoff calling Xavier Ouellet "oo-lette". I can maybe countenance one game, but then you double-check, or your producer straightens this out.

I get it double, consuming both Montréal and Vancouver sports media.

I took a 4-year break from reading or discussing politics back on November 5. It's quite freeing. Once you accept that it will all be horrible and pointless and unjust, the 'news' you can't avoid but which bobs up against your consciousness has less damaging heft.
