Just sharing what I learn every day.
Just deployed Beszel for server monitoring.

It’s a minimalist alternative to Netdata.

- Lightweight: Tiny resource footprint (~6MB RAM).

- UI/UX First: Modern, polished dashboard. Zero clutter.

- Centralized: One self-hosted hub for all VPS. No external cloud needed.

Migrated from MySQL to Postgres in every project.

What made me switch:

- Rich Types: Native UUIDs, Arrays & JSONB eliminate messy workarounds.

- Safety: Strict data integrity & transactional DDL (no broken migrations).

- Future-proof: Built-in AI (pgvector) & Geo (PostGIS).

Just played around with Dokploy and their multi-server management via Docker Swarm. It is incredibly seamless and functional. 🐳

It adds a layer of abstraction to run multiple instances I should have used earlier. And their UX / interfaces are the bests.

Gave Biome a real shot, but the trade-off just isn't worth it yet. You lose too much of the rich static analysis depth provided by the ESLint ecosystem (Antfu, XO, Sheriff).

Reverted to Antfu's setup and stopping the search there. No more time wasted on tooling. It just works. 🫡
