25+ Red Kites circling the tractor-disturbed ground on an Oxfordshire crop field.

This is my view when I open my front door of a morning.

You're not kidding.

This was literally supposed to be a photograph of the Moon at night... and my DSLR camera just couldn't adjust properly with a lens on it.

(you can see the tiniest hint of craters at the bottom).

This is why in 2001 the ship doesn't have "gravity". The space station does, is shaped like image 1 below.

"Gravity" would only apply in the rings. The central hub would be in freefall (and things would be rotating fast!).

And if you haven't seen, the ISS isn't built to be like this (right)

My dad gave up and bought NiCD batteries and/or battery packs for everything in that era.

My Gameboy had a huge white rechargeable battery thing, my Game Gear only ever run on an AC adaptor. And almost all our toys used NiCd's or similar.

And then you get this...

And then they badger you still constantly to use the app.

Cisco Meraki: We're a world leading networking company that deals in equipment that a network cable plugs into. We've designed a CCTV camera that plugs into the network.

I know!

(Seriously, I had these on trial several years ago and sent them back with a refusal PURELY because of this).

I can beat that. One is actually ON my front door. He moved and hid behind my parcel box and I checked on him twice and he's still there.

"Yes, this would have been an amazing opportunity... 25 years ago. Could you please apply inflation since then to the salary?"

SteamWorks, 9th July:

"This process may take 2-7 days"

Steamworks, 16th August... still waiting...

It's a Robber Rummy variant - each player is trying to rid themselves of as many cards as possible, by forming "melds" (small hands they put face-up in front of them).

The first player to lose all their cards (by making melds, or adding, stealing and joining other's melds) wins.

Newest project / WIP.

A quick, fun card videogame, Steam Deck and Linux compatible, by an indie developer.

It's about 6 weeks old at this point, but nearing maturity and hoping to get it onto Steam and/or GOG.

An awful Alpha screenshot:
