That's what I most wanted to share – how generous with his time he was, his recognition of the need to contact me as soon as he had results, and how kind he was. AC Health Dept doesn't appear to be on Bluesky, but nonetheless, kudos to them. 4/4

The Atlantic County Health Dept just called to tell me the results were neg, which is a relief. But I have to tell you the person who called was so kind. He asked about Candy and seemed genuinely touched, and he thanked me for efforts to help feral cats. 3/

While treating her, I tried to give her a bit of food with medicine, and she chomped on my finger, giving me a puncture. She'd been too young for a rabies vax, so the ER had to send her to the state (NJ) to be tested. No indication she had rabies, but waiting for results has made my anxiety soar. 2/

Frankenstein – the creation, not the doctor – was vegetarian. I really hope there's some reference to that, even if it's oblique. That would be the cherry on the oat milk ice cream sundae for me.

Considering Alito referenced 17th century English law to justify ending abortion rights, this sounds fair. Tit for tat for that shriveled sanctimonious sycophant and his co-conspirarators

We live in a woodsy area in NJ. Probably 90% of ticks we or the dogs get are Lone Star. "Luckily" I've developed an allergy so tick bites itch and I find them right away. Even after removal though, I'm itchy for days. Bad itchy, no meds help, only ice packs.
