Here's some experimental footage from a train journey in the UK summer 2025. It gets more odd as it goes including what the audio does. I included it in a short, but I like how it is by itself too.

From Flagstaff days, probably 2023. I think these were taken with my pink Casio Exilim that I got in 2008 in NC.

Twigs and tiny leaves that look silver in this version. I think this must be the bw version of the original color file, because it is not centered or straightened, which I like for this one. Digital.

Here's another painting/drawing from a while back in 2025. Acrylic, ink pen, and pencil on A4 paper.

A lot of my work in the recent past has been done quickly with high energy. I'm curious to see if when I do analog work in the future if that's going to continue.

Sometimes art is simple and/or brutal honesty. It can be of any subject. And it does not have to be something that's "fixed" or altered or "beautiful".

Moving picture, a little while ago today. The smoke is from a gardener doing a little clean up. You can see them lower right emerging from the smoke in a few seconds before the bicycle goes by.

This just in. Fine Art America stinks. Just my opinion from my own experiences so far which include frequently not being able to log in or even view the main site and receiving blank emails from them over and over.

It just don't work good. :)

And I'm streamlining my sites and art life.

Retro Man. Oil stick on paper shopping receipt from Blackpool, UK. I was a warm, sunny day, and I needed a cap. 2025. The figure was just what came out of starting to make shapes intuitively. Then I thought, oh, Retro Man.

Dark, orange paper shopping receipt used as a canvas for black oil stick drawing/painting. A large circle "head" at the top, lines going down from there form a body and arms, and a square and triangle shape in place of "hands". When I was done, I thought it looked like an old-fashioned generic man, maybe from the 50s, carrying perhaps a briefcase and lunch bag.
