➡️ Our City, Our Lives, Our Stories at 6pm at Compton Road Library is an anthology, all about life in Leeds by writers of African descent. Meet the authors who have written narratives of people born in Kenya, Nigeria, Angola, Zimbabwe and those in Yorkshire of African diasporic descent. 

➡️ Cosy Crime with a Windrush Flavour at 6.30pm at Truman Books is here to bring the cosy and the crime (well, fictionally!). Mel Pennant is here to talk through her gripping new crime series and the mysteries surrounding Miss Hortense!

➡️ All the Other Mothers Hate Me at 6.30pm at Next Chapter Books introduces Sarah Harman! Join this exciting women-led venue for an evening of excellent fiction, understanding Sarah's writing process and what inspires her!

➡️ Another Midsummer Cushion at 7pm at The University of Leeds. A free poetry showcase with excellent talent such as Ian Duhig, Rob Miles, Maia Elsner, Kate Simpson and Matt Howard!

➡️ Lucy Vine, Laura Wood & Rebecca Ryan at 7pm at Waterstones Leeds  will be talking romance. It's promising to be an exciting evening with two excellent speakers: Lucy Vine, bestselling author of Hot Mess and Laura Wood, winner of the Montegrappa Scholastic Prize for New Children's Writing. Rebecca Ryan, author of The Next Chapter, will be moderating!

➡️ Small Distractions Literary Salon at 7.30pm at the Wax Bar. This is what Leeds Lit Fest is all about, bringing creatives together to get inspired and find like-minded people. For this event this means the two arts of literature and music blending!
