2/2 - She said she normally saw children who were a little behind in their development, but I was the first who was way ahead in areas and way behind in others. Other aspects of my behaviour then and now have been mooted as mild autism. It existed in the 70s but they didn't know what it was.

When I was 4 I had the reading age of a 12 year old - but there were other aspects of me that were far behind. Every Monday afternoon when I was 6 I took Mondays off to see a child psychologist. This was 1973. 1/2
