Why do I ask this every day?

Because joy is an act of resistance. Bringing joy to others is an act of resistance.

It can be overwhelming when the news is constantly scary. But bring joy to others and yourself. Resistance is a process, not a single moment. Remember there is always good.

What is visible (and gets joked about like Squirrel or Shiny) is a fraction of the actual struggles. Rejection Sensitivity, meal prep, the "ADHD tax" with food and other items, sensory processing.

There’s a few things I would praise Man of Steel for. but they’re few and far between. And it kind of demonstrates that Goyer, who wrote the script, thinks that Superman is the person and Clark is the costume. Not Clark being a kid from Kansas raised by good people.

Man of Steel (2013) is Snyder and Goyer taking Bill’s Superman monologue from Kill Bill as profound from the mouth of Tarantino and not a monologue about Bill’s view on power.

James Gunn’s Superman understands that Bill is wrong.

I would prefer that we go back to 5 standard sets a year, then a summer and winter special draft set like Commander Legends and Remastered sets.

And superiority complex that no medium is as good as a novel.

Different mediums approach storytelling differently, and that’s okay.

Witcher 3 is undeniably the most successful adaptation into games from another medium ever.

Without the games, he wouldn’t be nearly as big a name outside Poland as he is.

There’s plenty to praise him for with the themes of the books.

But CDPR has taken his source material and truly run with it in ways he never could.
