Not my real name, sorry;)
My friend started feeding cockatoos when she moved to Sydney's blue mountains, their numbers increased, she got alarmed so stopped feeding them and they retaliated by destroying her woodwork
Beautiful, intelligent, crazy, powerful, clever, and completely wild and dangerous:)

Charlie Kirk one week after three children and three adults were killed at the Christian Covenant School in Nashville, Tennessee:

“It’s worth to have a cost of, unfortunately, some gun deaths every single year so that we can have the Second Amendment”.

He never thought it included him.

It seemed crazy at the time to reverse the march, i had memories of the London police tactic of 'kettling' protestors to provoke a crowd crush but am amazed it worked out without causing panic and injuries. All credit to the marchers for being so chilled

I was north of the north pylons beside bradfield park, waited for the crowd walking south to ease and walked off the first exit which was tightly constrained by traffic barriers and a line of police to less than one car lane width
I had a bike so had options, could ride back on the bridge cycleway:)

Yes, true, there was room to disperse but there was no transport as they'd closed the train station due to overcrowding. messaging was confusing but i do think the organisers and police made the right call

a record breaking turnout in the pouring rain, more than senior police had ever seen, imagine if it was one of those beautiful sunny Sydney winter's days!
I was there for several reasons: against breaking international law, against being silenced by powerful lobbyists and against anti protest laws!
